Classification of micromachines.Microtransformers. Fractional horse power motors for general use and for automation. Tachogenerators, reluctance and hysteresis motors.Universal commutator motors, small DC motors. Rotary transformers and selsyns. Special micromachines. EC motors and control of DC motors. Design of fractional horse power motors. Basic characteristics measurements.
