Abstract:The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of generators, which will use alternative sources of energy instead of fossil fuels. The work is focusing on mechanical energy conversion. Introductory part of the text summarizes the requirements on the generator, properties and parameters of appliances, which will be connected to the generator, and finally the selection of suitable alternative fuels. Main part describes the process of a prototype realization. Individual parts of the device have been manufactured from a simplified technical documentation and sketches in the machine shops of the Secondary School of Electrotechnical Engineering on Trnkova street, and from these parts a functional generator prototype has been assembled. This prototype consists of two separate parts: a propulsion unit and an alternator with accessories, including appliances. On this prototype an efficiency measurement has also been carried out. Furthermore, the work includes animations of device functions created in modeling program SolidWorks 2012. Prototypes are based on a known principle of a steam engine and, at the request of the above-mentioned school, have been adapter into a visual teaching aid. The advantage of those prototypes lies in their inexpensive and simple construction, which utilizes commonly available materials. The device works on maintenance-free principle, there is only the necessity of occasional greasing for a fluent running. In conclusion are briefly reviewed the investment and operating costs of the generator.

Student prezentoval svoji bakalářskou práci a v jejím závěru popsal a demonstroval funkci vytvořeného modelu.
