Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to characterize the basic characteristics of simulation environment Dynast. It is focused on text and graphic formulation of models, specification and realization of simulation’s analyses, work with results in working environment DynShell. It describes general methodology of creation simulation models of general physical systems. It deals with creation of dynamic model of wind power plant in software environment DynShell. Wind power plant’s model is realized by sub models of wind velocity, aerodynamics, mechanics and squirrel-cage asynchronous generator. Single sub models take just master dynamic interaction like dependence of incident wind velocity on height (wind velocity is taken as constant in certain height), aerodynamic characteristics of blades, damping and stiffness of low-velocity shaft, turbine’s and generator’s moment of inertia. Performed simulation on model of electric system with model created by wind power plant shows there is fluctuation of energy output supplied with model of wind power plant to electrical network. It is affected by changeability of blade’s heights. In real situation the variation of supplied power with using asynchronous generators would be bigger in a short period because of changeability of wind velocity in certain height. The results of the simulations show we can expect the problems in operating of electricity supply systems if there are the wind power plants with squirrel-cage asynchronous generator connected.
