Abstract:The aim of this work is to design and implement a virtual measuring workplace for a light laboratory. The workplace as an unit which allows a complete administration and exercising of defined task (a measurement of a luminous flux of an unknown source, its voltage dependence and luminous effectiveness) by a web interface, especially in time when it is not allowed because of a deficient laboratory kapacity or the distance from the workplace. Student is able to test and measure the task situated in the light laboratory. The main advantage is that the student doesn´t have to be present in the classroom but is able to work on the task from anywhere through the Internet. Generally, this application can be used for any other task. During creation of the virtual laboratory I have used a validator language PHP. It concerns the whole series of PHP scripts, which take care of all aspects associated with the presentation of the measuring data. There are scripts for the configuration in this work that determine what measuring data in which way will be displayed.
