The focus will be given to the analysis of factors affecting senior drivers' tendency for accidents, the influence of age on driving, cognitive issues related to driving a motor vehicle with respect to age, the influence of age on decision making, possibilities of compensation, using HMI (Human-Machine Interface), problematic drivers in this age group and the influence of these factors on the accident rate and the assessment of the causes of their occurrence.

The focus will be given to the analysis of factors affecting young drivers' tendency for accidents, the influence of age on driving, cognitive issues related to driving a motor vehicle with respect to age, the influence of age on decision making, possibilities of compensation, using HMI (Human-Machine Interface), problematic drivers in this age group and the influence of these factors on the accident rate and the assessment of the causes of their occurrence.
When dealing with a collision between two vehicles riding in a curve, it is necessary to also deal with an analysis of the common trajectory of the vehicle in realtion to the conditions in the place of the collision and to the common riding technique of the drivers. The thesis will deal with an analysis of the factors affecting the riding tactics and subsequently the trajectory of the vehicle when riding in a curve under various conditions so that it is possible to deduce common behaviour of the driver depending on the important factors influencing the ride trajectory (radius of the curve, view of the curve, speed of the ride, adhesion conditions and others) for different riding situations.
Tutor: Kledus Robert, doc. Ing., Ph.D.
Railroad crossings are seen as most dangerous points for both drivers of road motor vehicles and train staff. The frequency of accidents is steadily growing last years. Causes which determine traffic accidents on railroad crossings are many, their analytic evaluation is difficult. Synchronization is witchieveh rail ad specialist activities, road accidents accident. Scientific analyses of causes, influencing factors could be beneficial for forensic institutions, courts, forensic experts and their work. It will be also beneficial for traffic safety and new measures in the Czech Republic.
Special dummies are used for valuation of crew behaviour during impact. There dummied are not designed to be suitable for experiments aimed at behaviour of vulnerable road users during impact with vehicle. Design of current common dummies does not allow to investigate the origin of injury, especially on tough parts of human body. Goal of the thesis is to make suitable model object for realization of experiments specialized at research of injury origin for vulnerable road users at road traffic. Model object should be evaluated in terms of experiments on basis simulation of road accident conditions with sufficiently known real course of accident.
There is the new legal duty for pedestrian to wear at certain conditions retroreflective elements since the year of 2016 in the Czech Republic. Reflect of light from such elements can or cannot be important visual stimulant for driver. The impact those elements on driver’s behaviour in dangerous situations is not sufficiently known. The goal of the thesis is to analyze driver’s behaviour at reactions on pedestrians based on experimental research and take into account results at modification of methods used for computer modelling of driver’s behaviour at accident avoidance in relation to drivers and pedestrian duties resulting from valid road traffic rules.
