The thesis will deal with the development of methods used for valuation of listed buildings. The searched for methods will be those for valuation of listed buildings in connection with the property type, its size, cultural significance, the cultural significance of the area or other suitable criteria. Based on suitably selected criteria areas with similar cultural significance within the Czech Republic will be defined allowing categorization for valuation of listed buildings. Subsequently, suitable approaches which will make it possible to take account of the cultural (historic) value of the structures in comparison with the value of similar structures with no cultural significance will be searched for.

The aim is to look into the methodology for valuation of personal motor vehicles with the emphasis on assessing the structure properties, condition and the surroundings with respect to their effect on the value of these vehicles. In assessing the structure properties, emphasis will be placed on development of methods for technical level assessment. In assessing the structure condition, focus will be given to development of methods for providing assessment and subsequent evaluation of the technical condition including the assessment of the effect of overhauls. In assessing the effects of the surroundings, the focus will mainly be on the analysis of the market and the essential factors influencing the difference between the utility and exchange values. The issues of assessing the extent of property damage will also be included.

The aim is to look into the methodology for valuation of utility motor vehicles with the emphasis on assessing the structure properties, condition and the surroundings with respect to their effect on the value of these vehicles.
The focus will be given to assessing the influence of qualitative factors on a price structure. The key approach will be the expression urban and social-environmental determination of locality and quantification of artistic and architectural qualities for determining the value of the structure more adequately. The selection of the indicators and indexes specific for structures and their role in determining the market value.
The aim in the currently very rapid development of the forensic science in a number of scientific and auxiliary disciplines is unification of methodology approaches not only in the European Union. It also highlights by the EU Parliament resolution, which urges the Member States to the unification of Forensic Science in 2020. The problem situation occurs for example in valuation of industry areas before their renovation, by purchasing or using of the defunct industrial zone so-called brownfield. In a large extent are these devastated areas with significant environmental burdens caused mainly by contamination of soil, geological environment, ground and surface waters by a wide range of hazardous substances. The problem then becomes in determining of the extent of contamination, proposal of remedial measures to remove and especially determining of responsibility for damages, which are very often the subject of litigation. The aim will be based on a thorough analysis and systematic approach to develop a comprehensive set of methods and procedures, incl. their application for the needs of the forensic environmentalism, which finds the application in litigation and technical expertise, especially for the expedite, unify and clarify the issue of the environmental valuation and the determination of liability for the damages.

The climate changes in the Czech Republic are demonstrated by increasing of the extreme weather conditions. However, extreme weather conditions, inter alia, causing significant property damages. Examples are occurrences of storms, hail, rainfall, floods, droughts, abnormally low, but high air temperatures, etc. Some of these mentioned extremes weather represent the security risks on the entire territory of the Czech Republic. To ensure the effective protection of property is necessary to know the manifestation of our climate, trends of the individual meteorological elements, frequency of extreme events of the extreme events, etc. In spite on the facts that are known the results of the analysis of weather developments and outputs of climate models, there is no given more attention in issue of property damages. Contents of the study (Ph.D. thesis) will be the analysis of the damage caused by the weather extremes. Based on the statistical analyzes of our climate over the long-term dynamics and dynamic of occurrence of weather extremes will be assessed the potential of possible property damage and in terms of estimated in the future. The outcomes will be the methods determining not only for the property damage valuation but also to determining the area with a high potential of the damage occurrence depending on the weather extremes.

The issue is based on the need to set time continuous and unbiased estimation the market value of real property. The objective will be to propose and test the statistical and numerical methods for engaging in the process of algorithm to set estimation of the market value. The result will be a newly created algorithm, which allows more unbiased and entire estimation of that value.
