The goal of the doctoral study programme is to provide outstanding graduates from the MSc study programme with a specialised university education of the highest level in certain fields , such as metrology, quality assuramce, quality management, standardisation etc. The education obtained within this study programme also comprises a training and attestation for scientific work.

1. Evaluation of the surface roughness and the function of workpiece.

   Proposal and certification of surface rouhhness panetters on properties of dynamic stress of workpiece.

2. Laser scanning one axis vibrations

   Basic purpose of the proposed theme is finding of suitable application algorithm on the base FFT for scanning and interpretation one axis vibrations production machines.

3. Position of Quality in Strategic Planning in Companies and Organizations

   The proposed topic of the scientific work includes finding what is the position of quality in the field of strategic planning and control in various sectors, it means in small, middle and big companies and public organizations (e.g. VZP - Health Insurance Company, University hospitals, Universities, Government offices, etc.). The research would be oriented on strategic planning - how it is implemented, in what scope and what is the position of quality in individual strategies. The target of the scientific work is a detailed description of the present status in the monitored area and especially analysis of its future progress. There will be made a summary of separated requirements dealing with quality of operation of monitored institutions and the way their standard is influenced by the legal and other regulations including technical standards at the international, regional (European) and national level.

4. Risk Identification of the Quality Management Systems in small or medium Organizations

   Dissertation objective is identification of risk sequent upon disproportion between enterprise management system and quality management system. Benefit of this doctoral thesis consist in transparent determination of success factors associated with quality management system, attested instruments to enterprise culture identification etc. This thema is for combined form of Ph.D. study supposed.
