Study program graduates are practically oriented personell with comprehensive technical and biomedical knowledge of biomedical technology, heath computer science and bioinformatic solutions and technologies. He is capable of working in a professional team, is well equipped as for knowledge of foreign languages as well as in the fields of biomedical equippment, solutions and technologies. He is capable of further self-education or education on master level, he is also ready for employment in relevant professional jobs.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples
Graduates of the Biomedical Technology and Bioinformatics are practically oriented professionals with broad knowledge in the field of biomedical technology, equippment, health computer science and bioinformatics. They are capable of working in professional teams, are well equipped as for their professional knowledge as well as language skills. They are capable of team work in experimental research and development, in companies and research institutions. Moreover they can find their jobs in companies focused to health technology, health services, health related computer science companies and in various biological or biomedical laboratories. Graduates have very good knowledge of mathematics, lhysics, biochemistry, human physiology and medical ethics. Graduate is allowed to perform regulated non-medical health professional serfices as defined in the Act. No. 96/2004 defined as Biomedical technician.
