Being situated in the heart of Europe, the Czech Republic is widely considered to be a historic jewel. This country was scored as the fifth most peaceful country in Europe. Besides Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic, Brno is considered to be the second-largest city situated in South Moravia. Although the city is not very huge, there are plenty of things to do, places to visit, and experiences to discover. Brno offers dynamic opportunities not only for tourists but also for foreign students.
Brno embodies the sixth-best city for students
According to a survey realized in 2019, the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) which specializes in the quality of education around the world announced Brno as the sixth-best city for students. Due to the low cost of living, increased safety level, and unlimited opportunities, the Czech Republic attracts more and more foreigners. According to the statistics, in 2019 the rate of unemployment in the country constituted 3,3%. The Czech Republic is not only a benefic country for work but also an extraordinary choice for studying. Overall, Czech universities are considered to be very prestigious by providing a wide range of programmes taught both in Czech and English, and an internationally accepted accreditation, unless you belong to a specific study field (e.g. medicine or law). Why Brno?
Besides the increased safety level, low cost-living, and a relatively low rate of unemployment, Brno is famous due to its touristic attractions and outstanding nature.
