Science and research evaluation in Czech Republic
The quality of outputs (publications, products) can be evaluated according to different criteria. For evaluation of scientific institutions in the Czech Republic is currently used the standard: “Methodology of Evaluation of Research Organizations and Evaluation of Finished Programmes (valid for years 2013 - 2015)” elaborated by the Research, Development and Innovation Council ( RVVI ) and approved by the government.
The Methodology can be found at: http://www.vyzkum.cz/FrontClanek.aspx?idsekce=695512
Any further detailed information on the topic can be found on the website of the Research, Development and Innovation Council ( RVVI ): www.vyzkum.cz
Information about the R&D results and long-term intentions and R&D projects supported by public funds, are collected to the Information Register of R&D results (RIV) according to the R&D Act [Code number 130/2002].
RIV serves as a source of information on the results of R&D in the Czech Republic for the general public and is one of the components of the whole R&D Information System (http://www.isvav.cz/ ).
Reporting and transmission of results on the BUT
The BUT runs central reporting and transmission of results to the RIV across the Apollo system. It is very important to report all your scientific publications results to this system.
For detailed instructions for inserting the result into the Apollo system, please visit: https://www.vutbr.cz/wiki/Kategorie:V%C3%BDzkum_a_v%C3%BDvoj (in Czech).
For technical support and control of records in the database in Apollo is responsible Tomas Panacek: apollo@vutbr.cz.
For a technical support you can also contact system integrators at each faculty. Their list can be found on: http://www.vutbr.cz/cvis/pro-uzivatele/integratori
