The aim of the subject is to provide information about the available tools and possibilities of using geographic information systems (GIS) in environmental engineering. GIS is an effective tool for data management, analysis and presentation, which has wide application in this field. Graduates of the course will acquire the required professional knowledge and practical skills during teaching in exercises structured.

Graduates of the course will acquire the necessary professional knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to effectively use geographic information systems (GIS) in the field of environmental engineering. The acquired knowledge can be practically applied in further studies and professional practice. Students will be able to use GIS for management, analysis and presentation of data as part of solving specific tasks in the field.
