The aim of this preparatory visit is to discuss possible future cooperation of the Nanomechanical lab, Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway (NTNU) with Dept. of Micromechanics of Materials and Engineering Acoustics at the FME BUT and Advanced Metallic Materials and Metal Based Composites at the CEITEC BUT (BUT). During the preparatory visit at the NTNU the applicant Dr. Petr Šesták will present the current research state and science capabilities of the mentioned research groups at the BUT to the research group at Nanomechanical lab at the NTNU (leader of the lab is Prof. Zhiliang Zhang) while the research group at Nanomechanical lab will present the same information about their research to the applicant. This preparatory visit is the first stage in bigger process whose result is creation of international cooperation between mentioned institutions in the frame of Norway grants.
