O projektu
V rámci projektu se budeme zabývat výzkumem organických materiálů pro obnovitelné zdroje energie, jmenovitě materiálů pro fotovoltaickou konverzi solární energie. Experimentálně i teoreticky budeme u nové generace nízkomolekulárních organických polovodičů studovat elektronové procesy související s přenosem energie a náboje po optické excitaci. Velmi rychlé elektronové procesy v těchto látkách budou zkoumány pomocí femtosekundové časově rozlišené spektroskopie. Získané výsledky budou doplněny kvantově chemickými výpočty elektronových vlastností a experimentální charakterizací optických a elektrických vlastností připravených materiálů. Tyto poznatky umožní sestrojit teoretické modely fotogenerace a transportu nosičů náboje v těchto molekulárních materiálech. Na základě navržené optimalizace procesů přenosu náboje budou vytvořeny vylepšené struktury organického solárního článku.
Popis anglickyThe proposed project is motivated by intensification of research on renewable energy sources, in particular, on the photovoltaic conversion of solar energy. The project is focused on the combined experimental and theoretical study of electron processes on molecular level associated with the energy and charge transfer after optical excitation of novel generation of small molecular organic semiconductors. Ultrafast electron processes in these materials will be investigated by means of the femtosecond time-resolved spectroscopy. This approach will be combined with quantum chemical calculations of electronic properties and experimental characterizations of optical and electrical properties of prepared materials. The obtained results will be used for particularization of the theoretical models of the charge carrier photogeneration and transport in small molecular materials. Finally, the optimization of the charge transfer processes will be used for an improved structure of the organic solar cells, which will be suggested and prepared.
