The aim of the project is to develop an advanced military training aircraft with a presumed take-off weight of cca 750 kg, a tandem seat arrangement and a turboprop engine. The design of the airplane will be based on the proven Stream airplane, whose dragon will be modified to incorporate the turboprop engine and the relevant airplane system modified. On the contrary, the foundation in the proven aerodynamic concept and UL version production technology will minimize development risks and manage the development of the new airplane over a short three-year period. Because the new type will not be limited to the UL and LSA categories, its design can be better adapted to the specific operating conditions of the training aircraft. The main result of the project will be a prototype of a military training aircraft ready for flight tests, which will offer users a modernly designed platform with higher performance and lower operating costs. Fulfilling the project goals and successfully achieving planned results will enable the applicant to expand the product portfolio of a modern training aircraft and enter the new market segment.
