O projektu

Thermomiotic ceramic materials, such as Al2W3O12, exhibit negative, near-zero, or low-positive coefficient of thermal expansion. This unique property leads to application in many fields, e.g., thermal shock resistant windows, electronics, or aerospace industry. However, sintering of thermomiotics is still scarcely studied despite its substantial influence on final properties of the material. Therefore, optimised Al2W3O12 powder will be densified by novel rapid rate sintering with a goal to reach full density and homogeneous microstructure.
