The main goal of the project is the development of qualified processes in the tribology for the space industry in the Czech Republic. These processes allow automatic, repeatable and controllable application of solid lubricating layers using the method of burnishing and resin-bonded coating on the friction surfaces of satellite components. This capability is not yet available in the Czech Republic, although these are key processes that still need to be ensured by purchasing abroad, mostly from EU countries but also outside the EU (England). Sub-objective necessary to achieve the main objective is to develop procedures for applying layers to components where this is required. Another goal is the automation of this process so as to increase work productivity and process repeatability.
