O projektu

The project is focused on the multi-fidelity modelling of shear strength based on experiments. Extensive research program will be performed by team from Lodz University of Technology (LUT). Shear tests results based on beams made of normal and light weight concrete reinforced with steel and FRP bars will be assessed by capability of shear strength prediction on analytical models. LUT role will based on experimental testing of real scale beams and fracture mechanics tests. Brno University of Technology (BUT) role will be an advanced shear strength simulations based on stochastic nonlinear computational mechanics and surrogate modelling. Reliability approaches combined with soft computing techniques will be enhanced using nonlinear fracture models. Sensitivity analysis will be tested and applied to investigate the role of random input variables in shear. Virtual stochastic modelling will be compared with experimental results and assessed in reference to recommendations and model uncertainties. The safety formats will be applied and compared with fully probabilistic design.
