O projektu
The transition to a circular economy relies heavily on robust data management integrated into strategic planning and operational management in this area. A key element of analysis involves considering the interconnections within the system, such as the relationship between primary and secondary waste production, and these aspects need to be incorporated into waste and circular economy indicators assessment. Through rigorous data verification and indicator control, weaknesses in data reporting and waste management can be accurately identified, enabling the identification of improvement potentials. To fulfill this potential, supportive mechanisms can be established for various types of waste and geographic regions, emphasizing the importance of appropriately combining broad and selective measures. The project aims to develop advanced mathematical models to support managerial decision-making in these areas, with uncertain parameters considered in all models, particularly essential in multi-stage optimization models involving decision-making over time.
