Research and development of road traffic monitoring system. The monitoring system will evaluate traffic - flow speed, density and other traffic - flow data in individual traffic lanes and areas. The system should be especially suited for urban traffic control. The system will use CCD cameras and radar as field sensors. Data from the sensors will be evaluated by dedicated computers equipped with intelligent software.
