This case study considers the use of a data mining tool at Česká Spořitelna, the largest bank for private clients in the Czech Republic. The study describes how this banking institution performs the segmentation of its client base of more than 5.2 million customers. The study presents practical experience in the application of the tool SAS Enterprise Miner which is designed for data mining in large database structures with the use of both statistical and non-statistical methods.
