Originální abstrakt
All over the world, great attention is being paid to issues concerning high-speed projectiles and fragments. Complex protective envelope structures are being developed for safety purposes and a concrete layer can almost always be found in such structural systems. With regard to the substantial expense involved in tests conducted in situ, numerical simulations of the examined issues are often performed. Today’s material models for concrete can capture its nonlinear behaviour, the influence of the loading rate, and the creation of fragments in cases of high-speed loading. However, in many studies only one of the many constitutive models is used, and there is often no comparison with others. In order to attain better numerical stability in cases when Lagrangian meshes are used, the erosion of elements is used in many simulations. This function causes elements to fall out of the simulation after a set criterion has been reached. However, if this criterion isn’t directly connected with the material model used, the results may not correspond well with reality.
