Druhý díl dvousvazkové publikace zabývající se historií výuky teorií a dějin architektury a výuky dějin výtvarných umění od vzniku Odboru architektury a pozemního stavitelství České vysoké školy technické v Brně roku 1919. Druhý díl publikace dokládá, že již záhy po založení odboru architektury a pozemního stavitelství (1919), nynější fakulty architektury, se zde přednášely dějiny výtvarných umění univerzitně školenými a renomovanými kunsthistoriky, a to v letech 1924–1940 a 1945–1951 Bohumilem Markalousem (1872–1952), Eugenem Dostálem (1889–1943) a Václavem Richterem (1900–1970). V období padesátých až sedmdesátých let „suplovali“ přednášky z dějin výtvarných umění dočasně architekti, které ale na konci osmdesátých let opět vystřídali historici umění, jejichž počet postupem času narůstal v důsledku vzniku nových ústavů a fakult. Zásadní příklon Vysokého učení technického k humanitním disciplínám vyvolal vznik fakulty výtvarných umění v roce 1993, na jejíž Katedře teorií a dějin umění dnes působí celkem sedm historiků umění. S dějinami výtvarných umění jsou navíc seznamováni studenti fakulty architektury, ústavu architektury fakulty stavební a odboru průmyslového designu fakulty strojního inženýrství. Za textem o historii výuky dějin výtvarných umění následují biograficko-bibliografická hesla historiků umění, kteří působili nebo působí na Vysokém učení technickém v Brně. Rozsáhlá publikační činnost svědčí o jejich nemalém podílu na vědecké a pedagogické prestiži brněnské techniky. Obrazová část přibližuje podobu tří zakladatelských osobností dějin výtvarných umění na brněnské technice, ostatní jsou zastoupeni reprodukcemi obálek svých stěžejních publikací. Text uzavírá krátký výtah ze skripta Vývoj architektury a umění středověku od Felixe Haase, který seznamoval studenty alespoň okrajově s dějinami umění v době, kdy na technice nepůsobil žádný profesionální kunsthistorik. Následuje stať již zvěčnělého Igora Zhoře a vzpomínky Jana Sedláka, Martina Horáčka a Jana Zálešáka.

The second part of the two-volume publication dealing with the history of teaching theories and history of architecture and the teaching of the history of fine arts since the creation of the Department of architecture and civil engineering of the Czech Technical University in Brno in 1919. The second part of the publication shows that soon after the establishment of the Department of architecture and civil engineering (1919), Faculty of architecture, the history of fine arts studied sincere trained and renowned kunsthistoriky, and in the years 1924-1940 and 1945-1951, Bohumil Markalousem (1872-1952), Eugene Dostálem (1889-1943) and Václav Richter (1900-1970). In the period from the 1950s to the 1970s "suplovali" lectures on the history of fine arts temporarily, but it architects at the end of the 1980s, again hosted by art historians, whose number grew over time as a result of the emergence of new institutes and faculties. A fundamental shift to the Technical University to the humanitarian disciplines caused the formation of the Faculty of fine arts in 1993, at the Department of theory and history of art, today operates a total of seven art historians. History of fine arts are also informed the students of the Faculty of architecture, Faculty of civil engineering and Architecture Institute of the Department of industrial design at the Faculty of mechanical engineering. For the text of the history of the teaching of the history of fine arts followed by biograficko-bibliographical password art historians who worked or works for the Technical University in Brno and Extensive publications bear witness to their share of the nemalém scientific and teaching prestige of technology.
