Originální abstrakt
The paper describes the results on long-term research of power plant fly ashes, used as active ingredients for the manufacture of self-compacting concretes. The effects on the rheological properties of fresh concrete are described with respect to the batch water dosage required to attain the necessary workability and the workability properties up to 90 minutes after mixing. The flow cone and L-box test were used in these evaluations. In addition, properties of hardened concrete are discussed. Concrete compressive strength was determined after 7, 28 and 56 days of normal hardening. Further, concrete durability was examined in terms of frost resistance and the surface resistance against the effect of frost and chemical de-icing salts
