Originální abstrakt
The contribution deals with modeling of bridged crack in the chevron-notched three point bending specimen made of the glass matrix composite reinforced by long SiC fibres. Weight functions for orthotropic material are obtained numerically by means of detailed FEM analysis in the system ANSYS and they are further used together with a bridging model available in literature to theoretical prediction of R-curve. Material orthotropy is captured using Barnett-Lothe's tensors calculated directly from the elastic moduli of composite. Recurrent calculations for the crack opening displacement resulting from applied loading and bridging stresses were performed within the system MAPLE. Theoretical results are then compared with experimental data.
