During the last few years, there is a significant increase in interest about use of Stirling heat machine as a typical propulsive unit, i.e. engine, in many technical branches. Reason for this is that its principle and high construction variability allow many different both conventional and unusual combinations of technical design especially for propel device integration. The Department of Electrical Power Engineering, FEEC BUT developed a model of the Stirling engine used for laboratory seminars, which was constructed in didactic intelligible design interfacing two basic modifications, beta and gamma. This model is especially useful to utilize renewable energetic resources, e.g. for construction simple solar energy system or cogeneration unit using less noble biomass fuels. The goal of this project is a detailed analysis of Stirling engine's thermodynamic processes aimed to reach better technical parameters (efficacy, power output), as well as analysis of working and dynamic features focused on optimization its function as a cogeneration unit.
