Originální abstrakt

The paper discusses the main issues we meet when implementing network Quality of Service (QoS) models in today's TCP/IP based network environments. It focuses on practical implementation of the differentiated and integrated services models in network applications and how these models adapt to the local network system. However, the main intention of the presented paper is to introduce software solutions for QoS guarantee. The co-operation with other well-known QoS mechanisms as well as location of the presented solution in TCP/IP layer reference model will also be discussed.
