Originální abstrakt
Advanced building materials are among the progressive products the importance of which is crucial in terms of sustainable development in all sectors, including construction. In addition to the very properties of advanced materials, their raw material intensity is also important and currently there is also an effort to find opportunities for the use of secondary materials in the production of both classic and advanced materials. The paper deals with the development and possibilities of using fine-grained light and ultra-light composites based on foam glass aggregates in the construction industry. These materials are relatively new in this form and are based on fine fractions of foam glass aggregates with a grain size of 0.063 – 4 mm. These materials can be used in practice, for example in the field of flooring or in problematic details of building structures, where it is necessary to use materials with a good ratio of thermal insulation and mechanical properties.
