Originální abstrakt
The paper describes an experiment aimed at verifying the influence of the size of large-format tile segments and, primarily, the influence of various adhesives on the quality and behaviour of the tiles. Large-format tiles were attached in various ways to pre-prepared concrete panels with a thickness of 150 mm and surface dimensions of 2 m x 3 m. The adhesives used were varied as well as the size to which the large-format elements were cut. The quality of the tiling material was monitored non-destructively by running an ultrasonic pulse velocity test. It was found that while the size of the segments cut from the large-format tiles did not affect the ultrasonic pulse velocity, the adhesive used did.
