In this paper the specialized workplace for digital video and image processing in Laboratory of television technique, FEEC BUT is introduced. The workplace consists of the PC with Matrox RT2500 realtime digital editing card with standard analog and IEEE1394 digital inputs and according outputs. The record from digital MiniDV camera or any other analog or digital video signal can be edited with the supplied professional editing software. The final recording can be identified for tape, CD, DVD or Web. The workplace is used for research and education and it was created in-process of solving the development grant project FRVŠ no. 1930/2002 Digital Video and Image Processing.
