The aim of work was to test magnetic porous glass MPG Streptavidin and newly prepared streptavidine-modified magnetic nonporous methacrylate P(GMA)NH2-STV microparticles for preparation of DNA probe and for probiotic DNA isolation. Biotinylated DNA probe was immobilized on the microparticle surface functionalized by streptavidine and hybridized with complementary DNA molecules in the sample.
