The diagnosis and monitoring of electrical machines have been under focus for about twenty years. The importance of this problematic proves world conferences as SDEMPED, The Symposium on Diagnostics for Electrical Machines, Power Electronics and Drives, founded in 1997, IEEE Annual Meetings and many others conferences together with papers presented in IEEE transactions. Our contribution to this problematic is this Monograph, which represents the Final report of the Grant No. 102/01/1291 of the Grant Agency of Czech Republic “Diagnostics of electromagnetic properties of electrical machines by means of vibration and acoustic fields”, head researcher dr. I. Jaksch, which was solved during the years 2001- 2003. The problematic was solved in two institutions in mutual cooperation.
