This article deals with a problem of delays caused by insufficient information exchange among all units involved into aerodrome traffic (air traffic control, airline operators, handling services providers, airport etc.). For this purpose FAA developed a system called Collaborative Decision Making (CDM). Later, the idea inspired Eurocontrol to develop the CDM for European airports. It is built up on monitoring of all processes which affect rate of delay and airport planning. Paper also refers about implementing of CDM at the Prague Ruzyně airport.
