The paper presents a fully time-domain technique for the simulation of hybrid systems with lossy nonuniform multiconductor transmission lines (MTL) and lumped-parameter elements. The core of the method lies in a connection of the implicit Wendroff method to describe the MTLs telegraphic equations and the modified nodal analysis (MNA) to incorporate boundary conditions. The solution of the MNA differential-algebraic equations (DAE) is based on the implicit Euler method capable to be easily joined with the Wendroff method, resulting in a sole system of equations in time domain. The utilization of the MNA approach ensures a high universality and covers arbitrarily complex systems on principle. Examples of computer simulations are presented based on the Matlab language procedures developed.
