This paper introduces a problem in the field of process scheduling and optimization inside logistic warehouses and its main aim is to create the benchmark definition and provide the baseline results. The problem introduced is similar to the well known scheduling problems (Job-Shop Scheduling Problems, Vehicle Routing Problems, and others). The key representatives of the logistic warehousing industry still do not use automatic process optimization and all tries have failed in the recent years. This work is result of joint research between university and logistic company which tries to fill the gap between science and business. The main contribution of this work is a) to define the problem of logistic company, b) to define a set of benchmarks, c) to define a simple evaluation criterion, and d) to give a baseline results for further research using genetic programming.
