Originální abstrakt
The paper presents results of validation of the so-called Modified Plug-Flow Furnace Model. The validation was performed by the means of comparing heat flux profiles provided by the model and obtained from tests carried out using a specialized experimental combustion chamber. The main goal was to find out if the model was sufficiently accurate to be able to identify the thermal behaviour of burners.
