Interest in multimedia content is rapidly increasing. In recent years there was extremely progress in improving Quality of Experience (QoE) in multimedia systems. This was mainly the stereoscopic video (3D) and High Definition video (HD). Nowadays a 3D video, as we know it is already on the retreat. With the upcoming Ultra HD resolution, we have already reached a stage where higher resolution does not have any more importance because the human eye is not enough sensitive to take benefit from an even higher resolution. Currently video content with a High Dynamic Range (HDR) is slowly expanding. In the future, we can expect expansion of video content with High Frame Rate (HFR). The aim of this paper is to examine if the viewers appreciate the Ultra HD video with a higher frame rate encoded by H.265.

Klíčová slova

Ultra HD; HFR; subjective test; 60 fps.
