Originální abstrakt

Lithium-ion battery production is increasing significantly due to the growth of electromobility. Since 2031 every battery used in electromobility will need to be recycled at the end of its life, achieving a recycling fficiency of over 70 %. Hydrometallurgical recycling methods and underwater crushing often leave some lithium in the wastewater. Efficiently recovering lithium from this wastewater can reduce the reliance on lithium mining. This paper focuses on recovering lithium carbonate from wastewater through thermal precipitation and crystallization of waste lithium using sodium carbonate.
