The aim of this contribution is to describe the concept of electrical machines laboratories at the UVEE FEKT (Department of Power Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication) at the Brno University of Technology. The paper contains a description of the current state of electrical machines virtual laboratories and a description of the designed concept. Virtual laboratories should be used in daily studies especially as a supplement to laboratory training. In the combined form of study, they should replace, to certain degree, real measurements in laboratories.
