Contribution deals with possibilities and procedures for MSC. Dytran utilization for the purpose of safety verification of a glider during impact on the ground under the angle of 45 and during loads corresponding to JAR 22.561 requirements. Under given circumstances, deformation of a cockpit was analyzed. Load cases were solved for fuselage of a glider, impact surface was modeled as RIGID surface. FEM model of an airframe was made using MSC. PATRAN and calculation using MSC. DYTRAN.
