Scientific activities
- FEM based simulations of the material failure.
- Analytical-numerical description of the brittle fracture (ceramic materials).
- Modelling of the laminated materials – with isotropic or anisotropic layers, and calculation of their behaviour under the residual stresses and mechanical loading; modelling of the crack propagation within these laminates.
- Modelling of multilayer systems – ceramic-metal used in the LTCC components and study of their behaviour under the operating conditions.
