On the project

Description in English
The new proposal will continue in R/D work initiated by grant project GAČR 101/94/0547 "Software system for production planning and scheduling in SME using a simulation model". SIMPLAN - the system for production planning and scheduling using a simulation model of production facilities was created. Using SIMPLAN the managers are able to do effective plans and schedules and they are able to predict the state of production. This system allows to evaluate different alternatives, responsive to changes in production plans effected by delays of materials, breakdowns, new orders etc. The aims of proposal project are: l. To analyse optimisation methods applicable for solving of optimisation tasks of discrete systems (in manufacturing and agriculture) 2. To develop a methodology using simulation methods for optimisation of production and distributive systems in manufacturing and agriculture, suitable for Czech economy conditions 3. To develop optimisation system based on simulation mode
