Cílem projektu je rozpracování a zdokonalení metod návrhu stavebních konstrukcí kombinovaných z oceli a betonu moderními technologiemi, aby pořizovací cena konstrukce byla minimální při dodržení kritérií spolehlivosti a funkčnosti, při aplikaci nových přístupů trvale udržitelného rozvoje.

Description in English
The nature of the grant project is the development of the scientific knowledge and the formulation of the basic technical and technological principles dealing with the theory, analysis and the designing methods of statically and dynamically loaded concrete-steel load-carrying structure systems. The attention will concentrate primarily on the structures formed by concrete or steel-concrete columns and steel beams, or from steel-concrete plate. A special emphasis will be put on the steel beam connections(including thin-walled) to the concrete or reinforced concrete columns. Applied methods respect the effects of initial imperfections, the loading history, the technological, physical and geometrical influences. The user's requirements regarding the function, reliability and effectiveness of the designed structure are taken into account as well.
