Projekt je zaměřen na výzkum řady problémů v oblasti termofluidní mechaniky a techniky prostředí. Některé zkoumané problémy spadají do oblasti základního technologického výzkumu (TRL1 až TRL3), jiné jsou součástí navazujících fází výzkumu zaměřených na prokázání praktické použitelnosti zkoumaných jevů a principů (TRL2 až TRL4).
