On the project

This proposed project is dedicated to explore a novel process to obtain for the very first time nanocrystalline β-TCP (N-β-TCP) ceramics by the rapid heat treatment of CDHA. The physicochemical properties of both, N-β-TCP and CDHA, will be comprehensively studied and compared with the properties of micro-structured β-TCP, with the aim of design cell instructive materials that outperform autologous bone grafts in bone regeneration.
