On the project

Description in English
The objective of the project is software applying artificial intelligence in diagnostics and control of a group of combined heat and power units (CHP), which together create a virtual powerplant. The software estimates the available capacity of electricity production over time for each CHP unit and determines the possibilities of electricity supply from the virtual power plant to the distribution grid. The uniqueness of the solution is in the use of artificial intelligence which processes a large amount of data and determines the optimal strategy for the power plant in a way which would be unobtainable for normal operators. This will bring benefits for the unit’s operators (higher profit from electricity sales) as well as for energy companies (stabilization of electricity supply).
