On the project

Mutual incompatibility of distinct spectroscopic systems is among the most limiting factors in Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). This problem is ruling out the possibility of shared libraries of standards and inter-laboratory comparison. I propose a solution to the library transfer in a simplified format (simultaneous measurements on two systems and shared standards) that could be partially generalized to the whole problem. Machine learning models (autoencoder and MLP) will be used in a transfer learning setup.
