On the project

Description in English
Distributed optical fiber sensor systems are increasingly used in the field of security. They make it possible to measure acoustic vibrations, temperature or strain over long distances with great accuracy. The aim of the project is to increase the reach of the existing PERIMETR system and its technological extension with the possibility of temperature measurement. Machine learning algorithms will be used for successful detection. The resulting system will thus enable the deployment on both perimeter protection of critical infrastructures and, for example, protection of tunnels or nuclear power plants.
