On the project

Prostate cancer is a major global burden, causing significant death rates. Early detection is critical, but the current screening methods suffer from high false positives and psychological harm. Alternative biomarkers, such as exosomes, are promising for non-invasive diagnosis as they carry information about the tumor microenvironment and reflect the metabolic status of cells. The proposed project is to create a sensitive and specific exosome detection method for early diagnosis of prostate cancer.
