On the project
Description in EnglishThe aim of the National Centre for Energy II (NCE II) project is to develop a comprehensive strategy ensuring energy self-sufficiency and raw materials independence of the Czech Republic and reducing greenhouse gas emissions through R&D of methods, materials, and technologies for modern, low carbon and sustainable energy in the non-nuclear energy sector. Part of the strategy is analysis of the socio-economic impact of the implementation of new scientific knowledge with follow-up recommendations for legislative measures. The aim will be achieved in line with EU strategic documents in particular Green Deal and Fit for 55 via cooperation of top research organisations and innovation leaders, while sharing unique laboratory facilities and know-how of expert teams through joint projects.
