• administrative and methodological support, coordination of the establishment of Start-Up, Spin-Off companies of BUT
• support for existing Start-Up, Spin-Off companies - mentoring, coaching, consultation, contacts
• training of Knowledge Transfer Department staff, Knowledge Transfer Managers, Authorized Persons in individual areas of knowledge transfer (administration, database work, legal issues, economics, etc.)
• Providing education and advice to BUT employees and students in the field of intellectual property management and protection, knowledge transfer and commercialisation of intellectual property

LEGAL SUPPORT (in cooperation with the Legal Department)

• Methodology for the administration of legislation in the field of knowledge transfer
• support for originators and faculties/units in negotiations with commercial partners

COORDINATION

• preparation of documents and coordination of the activities of the Industrial Council of the BUT
• ensuring and developing cooperation with chambers of commerce, technology parks, innovation centres, etc. including support for technical education
• contact point for the commercial sphere, state administration, professional associations, etc.

RECORDS AND MANAGEMENT

• creation of assignments and administration of the IS part, including checking the correctness and completeness of the data entered there
• creating the content of information and communication channels
